As manufacturing operations expand, production facilities must evolve to handle increasing volumes of raw materials safely, efficiently, and with minimal interruption. Bulk material handling systems, such as Big Bag Stations, play a vital role in streamlining production by improving the transfer of ingredients, reducing manual handling, and supporting consistent manufacturing processes. However, these systems can only perform effectively when supported by a reliable and well-integrated electrical infrastructure.

To support the installation of a new Big Bag Station, Nestlé partnered with TEP Africa to deliver the electrical works required to power, control, and seamlessly integrate the new system into its existing production facility.

Our scope included the installation of electrical distribution systems, power and control cabling, equipment connections, cable management, and supporting electrical infrastructure necessary to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the station. Every aspect of the installation was carefully planned to align with Nestlé’s operational requirements while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and engineering excellence.

Working within a live manufacturing environment required meticulous coordination to ensure that installation activities were carried out with minimal disruption to ongoing production. Through disciplined planning and close collaboration with the client, our team successfully integrated the new electrical systems while maintaining operational continuity.

Once commissioned, the upgraded infrastructure will provide dependable power to the Big Bag Station, supporting safer material handling, improved production efficiency, and enhanced operational reliability.
