Project Description

In chocolate manufacturing, environmental control is a critical part of the production process. Even slight variations in temperature or humidity can affect product quality, production efficiency, and equipment performance. As manufacturing demands continue to grow, facilities require HVAC systems that not only provide comfort but also create stable environmental conditions that support consistent production and protect valuable products.

To help strengthen its production environment, Barry Callebaut partnered with TEP Africa to deliver a comprehensive HVAC solution tailored to the unique requirements of its manufacturing facility.

Working closely with the client, our engineering team designed and implemented a solution that optimizes air distribution, temperature control, ventilation, and overall system performance. Every component was carefully selected and integrated to support reliable operation while meeting the high standards expected within a food manufacturing environment.

Executing the project within a live production facility required detailed planning, precise coordination, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Our phased approach ensured that installation activities were carried out with minimal disruption to ongoing operations, allowing production to continue while critical infrastructure was upgraded.

The completed HVAC system provides a controlled indoor environment that enhances production reliability, improves employee comfort, and supports the consistent quality of temperature-sensitive products. By improving energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and equipment performance, the project contributes to lower operating costs and a more resilient manufacturing operation.

The Barry Callebaut HVAC Project demonstrates TEP Africa’s ability to deliver engineered climate-control solutions that go beyond maintaining comfortable spaces. By understanding the operational challenges of food manufacturers, we develop HVAC systems that protect products, improve productivity, and create sustainable manufacturing environments built for long-term success.
