Retail is a different kind of challenge, the storage isn’t hidden away in a warehouse, it’s on full display, and it has to work as hard for the shopper’s experience as it does for the business’s bottom line. In Ikeja, Lagos, Grand Square Supermarket turned to TEP Africa to get that balance right.
The project brought together two complementary needs: retail shelving designed for clear, attractive merchandising, and shoplifting prevention systems to protect inventory from loss. Supplied and installed as a single, coordinated solution, the result is a retail floor that feels open and organised for customers, while quietly safeguarding the supermarket’s stock behind the scenes— proof that good storage design isn’t only about warehouses, but about every space where goods meet people.
