Few projects test the scale of a storage solution quite like Melcom’s facility. With ambitions to support a fast-growing retail and distribution network, Melcom needed a warehouse system that could grow with it, not in one leap, but in carefully planned phases.
TEP Africa partnered with Melcom to deliver exactly that: a racking installation rolled out across Phase 1,2 and 3 ultimately reaching a combined capacity of 52,000 pallets. Each phase was sequenced to align with Melcom’s operational timelines, ensuring the facility never had to pause to catch up with its own growth. Today, the enclave stands as one of the more substantial storage infrastructures in TEP Africa’s portfolio, a testament to what disciplined, phased execution can achieve at scale.
